Weddings

Weddings are our specialty at The Oakwood. We delight in helping you create
a celebration to remember. You may host up to 300 guests at a reception in
our beautiful Oakwood banquet room. Our staff will work with you to plan
every detail of your special day.

Our banquet room may be configured and decorated to suit your taste.
We offer lighted tulle, candelabras, chair covers, table linens in various colors,
and much more. There is plenty of room for gift or cookie tables, decorative trellis, photo booth, and so on.

The room has a modern sound system, with speakers, microphone, and video projection. If you wish, you may have a raised stage. There is mood lighting and a dance floor. There is plenty of free parking. Everything is on one floor and handicapped accessible. Our wooded nature trails, grassy lawns and flowerbeds offer wonderful opportunities for wedding photos.

The Oakwood does not supply alcoholic beverages, but we will serve your guests according to the Alcohol Policies outlined in the menu box to the right.  If you wish, the Oakwood can also recommend local wedding photographers and DJs.
